Our office insurance policy
We do accept direct payment for insurance. If you have insurance, we will contact your insurance company to find out what is available for coverage of your orthodontic treatment. It is usually lifetime benefit which is paid out in the form of a down payment and monthly payments thereafter. Once we know what the percentage of the treatment your interns will cover, including the down payment we can calculate your actual down payment on long with your monthly payments.
We can accept and bill your insurance as a courtesy if it is necessary. Should insurance payments fall 60 days into arrears, the delinquent account is to be paid in full. Upon notification, the remaining balance will be factored into your monthly payments. From that time forward, we will have no further contact with your insurance company and insurance reimbursement may then be sent directly to you by your insurance company. This also holds true if you change insurance companies in the middle of orthodontic treatment.
There is no relationship between the monthly fees for orthodontic services. Your preset payment date is not related to your appointment dates. You will need to make your payments by the pre-arranged date, regardless of your next appointment date. Please contact our office in order to update your debit card information immediately and do not wait until the next visit. Any portion of the treatment for not covered by the insurance company will become your responsibility. If the insurance company becomes 60 days delinquent, you will be responsible for the delinquent amount. You will also be reimbursed if and when an insurance company makes a payment.
